Expert of the Week

This week's guest Expert is an Interior Designer! For an idea of what Interior Designer Tammy does, look around your bedroom. Is it filled with things you love? And is it easy to keep it clean? Tammy's job is to help your bedroom be both! To learn how she does it for her own clients (and maybe get a few decorating tricks-of-the-trade), just ask. The star of Earn It, Learn It pages 177-182 will be here for the next two weeks.

Our guest Expert this week is a Market Researcher! Did Mia pick this as her first-ever Earn My Keep career because she loves working with people? Because she enjoys testing new products? Or maybe it's because Market Researcher Adam is her dad! Whatever the reason, Adam WeinsteinEarn It, Learn It star of pages 225-229 and my ever-patient (VERY patient) husbandhas almost twenty years of market research experience for clients including Disney, Microsoft, Carnival Cruise Lines and Wrigley. Maybe that's why you'd want to give his career a go, too.

This week's guest Expert is an Entomologist! Which is super-fun because everyone loves bugs. (Oh, c'mon. Who could resist a delicious little ladybug or lovely floating butterfly?) Besides starring in Earn It, Learn It (pages 129-133), Wizzie Brown has been working with insects for more than sixteen years, doing such things as raising them, studying their biology, and teaching what she's learned to othersincluding us! So if you've ever wondered what it's like to spend your days with creepy and crawly friends, just buzz on over.

This week's guest Expert is a TV Writer! Deciding what his characters do and say is one of TV Writer Stefan Wallach's favorite parts of the job. (Eating the yummy food from craft service is also pretty cool.) With almost fifteen years in television, including writing for Bill Maher on Politically Incorrect, NBC's The Weakest Link and that family-favorite, Nickelodeon, our Expert from Earn It, Learn It pages 315-319 knows his way around a script. And for the next two weeks, he's here with us, revealing all the secrets of the small screen.

This week's guest Expert is a Nurse Practitioner! And guess what: Nurse Practitioner Jill Steiner Sanko is not a Nurse. Nor is she a Doctor. So what makes Nurse Practitioners different? Ask her! With nearly fifteen years' experience in medicine, the star of Earn It, Learn It pages 243-247 knows all about the ins-and-outs of her career. And there's no doubt healthy patients all over South Florida are very happy about that.
